2020 Stonehorse by Kaesler Riesling

The Stonehorse, a symbol of power, strength, elegance and grace, just like this Riesling from an assemblage of estate vineyards in Clare with an average vine age of 58 years. The Clare Valley is renowned for producing some of the best Riesling in the world.

VINTAGE

The 2020 growing conditions in the Clare Valley were very warm and dry which resulted in low yields, but highly concentrated flavours and colours in the wines.

APPEARANCE: Pale straw
BOUQUET: Fresh lemon, lime and citrus blossom.
PALATE: The palate mirrors the nose with plenty of citrus flavours with undertones of nectarines and pear, finishing with tight, crisp acidity.
FOOD MATCH: Riesling is the perfect match to oysters and other fresh seafood.
