The Stonehorse, a symbol of power, strength, elegance and grace, just like this Touriga from our premium estate vineyard in the Clare Valley of South Australia.
The Clare Valley started vintage two weeks later than 2016. The canopies were in better condition than those of many years past. This resulted in excellent grape quality, particularly the reds which were elegant with long, soft tannins.
Touriga Nacional hails from Portugal, where it has been made into some of the world’s finest fortified wines for centuries. However, when made as a dry red table wine, Touriga can turn into a beautiful medium bodied, fragrant and sophisticated wine with elegant tannin structure, just like our 2017 Stonehorse Touriga.
