Barbera is a well-known Italian grape variety. Kaesler’s Barbera takes inspiration from its home town appellation, Tanunda, in the Barossa Valley, and its un-canny similarities with Barbera d’Alba – the famous appellation for Barbera in the Piedmont. The variety is true to Australian Barbera character.

Nose: Touches of pomegranate, raspberry and rhubarb with fresh split stone.
Mouth: Hints of sour cherry, wilson plum, precise pointed acid etched tannin, long linear palate with length defined by savoury deposit at the palate exit.
