A soft juicy style of shiraz that reflects the opulence of the Barossa. 95 points James Halliday Wine Companion 2019.
Eyes: Deep ruby / brick red
Nose: Coffee, cassis, dark chocolate, capsicum/pepper
Mouth: Sweet cherries, chocolate, star anise and five spice
Body: Plush mouthfeel, with firm tannins and great palate weight and length

7 days on skins. Gentle morning pump-overs were done so as not to extract too much tannin. Fermented in stainless steel, then transferred to barriques; 30% new French, with the balance in 3 and 4 year old French oak. No fining or filtration.
