Summary

Barbera is a well-known Italian grape variety. Barbera d’Anunda takes its name from its home town appellation, Tanunda, in the Barossa Valley, and its un-canny similarities with Barbera d’Alba – the famous appellation for Barbera in the Piedmont, Italy. A play on words, but the variety is true to Australian Barbera character.
