Join the Barossa wine community for a wine filled gourmet lunch experience and participate in the live auction excitement all while placing a bid on one of 30 lots of exceptional Barossan wines.
You can bid online, but you’ll miss the atmosphere and excitement of a live auction. Find the online catalogues here, with almost 200 wine lots up for auction you can do a little pre-snooping and create your wish list. It’s one of life’s little treasures to be able to amass your own wine collection, or even to top up an existing one! Think of it as an investment in your future happiness.
The Barossa Wine Chapters Auction contains something for all levels of the wine connoisseur, from rare vertical collections of back vintages, Langton’s own classified wines and large format and special release wines. It really is the premier Barossa Wine auction.

Simply register to bid here, view the collection online and start planning your bids. You can bid online from Friday 7 April to 7pm Friday 21 April 2017 (AEST) at langtons.com.au. The real fun will be on the day, however, at the live auction on Friday 21 April. Viewing of the lots opens at 10am, with the auction and lunch happening from 1pm – 4pm at Chateau Tanunda, 9 Basedow Road, Tanunda SA.

Our own Kaesler vines will be representing with Lot 9L, a 3.0L Double Magnum of 2014 Old Bastard Shiraz, our flagship wine. This single vineyard sourced Shiraz is from the original 1893 vines located at Nuriootpa. Only 12 Double Magnum of this vintage have being produced and they are hand signed by winemaker Reid Bosward. Additionally, we will be auctioning off 750ml bottles of 2012 Alte Reben Shiraz, a 100% Shiraz sourced from Kaesler estate vines planted in 1899 at Marananga. This vineyard has a soil type that is unique and quite different to most of the Kaesler vineyards. “We always suspected that we could do a single vineyard wine from this patch, as it is fairly large by old vine standards and not too many can boast custody of nine acres of Shiraz planted three centuries ago in 1899. It’s a national treasure!” says winemaker, Reid Bosward.
