With the objective to give back to the region that has been so supportive, four successful Barossa Valley winemakers have partnered together with Foundation Barossa to create Concordis.
CONCORDIS is a collaborative winemaking project that will see Kaesler Wines, Seppeltsfield Winery, Torbreck Vintners, and Two Hands Wines combine one tonne of their finest Shiraz grapes each year to create a unique cuvée. All proceeds will go to a perpetual education fund through Foundation Barossa, which will then provide ongoing financial support and training opportunities in cellar operations and viticulture for financially disadvantaged, local young people.
With 1600 magnums to be made annually, with the first cuvée from 2014, the project aims to raise over $700,000 over the initial four years, which will finance two, two-year traineeships at each of the wineries.
Débuting at a launch event held at FINO Seppeltsfield on Friday 21st August 2015, Concordis will be available for purchase through each of the individual wineries in addition to a handful of online stores. Support this great initiative. Purchase Concordis today. BUY HERE
